Breast Cancer Care is the only specialist UK-wide charity supporting people affected by breast cancer.
We want every person affected by breast cancer to get the best information and support possible - and this guides everything we do.
From the moment you notice something isn’t right, through to treatment and beyond, we’re here to help you feel more in control.
We combine the personal experiences of people affected by breast cancer with clinical expertise to shape our unique support services.
If you prefer to receive a written response to your questions, you can email our nurses instead.
We provide comprehensive information on our website on living with and beyond breast cancer.
Visit our website to download or order our range of free breast cancer and breast health publications.
Exchange tips, ask questions and share your concerns and experiences with others on our online Forum. You’ll find a welcoming and understanding community who can offer you practical and emotional support at any time of day or night.
We work with the NHS to provide Moving Forward courses – a programme of information sessions to help you adjust and adapt to life after treatment. The course covers a range of topics to help you know how to cope with changes, manage uncertainties and establish a ‘new normal’. Each course is attended by up to 16 people, so it’s also a chance to get to know others in a similar situation.
Our Someone Like Me service matches you to a trained volunteer who has had breast cancer and has experienced the issues you’re facing. You can ask any questions you like and talk openly without worrying about the feelings of the person listening. Some of our volunteers can also chat via email.
If you are 45 or under, our two-day Younger Women Together residential events give you a unique opportunity to meet other younger women and hear from expert speakers to help you understand and live with your diagnosis. Held in locations across the UK, the events give you a chance to talk, share and be yourself - away from the pressures of everyday life.
We're excited to announce that Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now are uniting to create one charity for everyone affected by breast cancer. From April 2019, we'll be the UK's first comprehensive breast cancer charity.
From research to care, our new charity will have people affected by breast cancer at its heart – providing support for today and hope for the future. Together, we are united in the aim that, by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live, and everyone will receive the support they need to live well now.
